Slim and sharp, smooth and beautiful - an accurate description of the folding Kwaiken knife from Boker Plus. After a long time in development, this folder is a design of young knifemaker Lucas Burnley from New Mexico and a re-engineered piece of his popular fixed blade model. Burnley wanted to translate the Kwaiken's typically slim concept into a folding knife without drastically changing the proportions.
The result is a design which has fascinated us at first glance. The clear lines and the slender knife which nevertheless houses the entire blade in the closed position are absolutely unique. Whoever is expecting to find compromises in the area of ergonomics because of the slim handle should take the knife in his hands and see for themselves. The green canvas Micarta scales offer a high amount of grip without being unnecessarily rough. The slim blade is made of AUS-8 stainless steel and deploys extremely smoothly due to the IKBS bearings. This knife is very reminiscent of the Heiho from CRKT and will definitely not disappoint.
